WordCamp rocks NOLA

I’m taking a quick moment this morning to reflect on everything that happened, and everyone we met at WordCamp NOLA this weekend. I wasn’t able to be there on Saturday because of family commitments, but Friday was a really stellar day and I heard the same about Saturday.
I want to thank John Ramirez and Computer CC for all the hard work they put into WordCamp. John has worked tirelessly for the last 8 months to put this together, and everything at the conference was first class. They really worked hard on and went the extra mile to make the conference as professional as possible.
Thanks to all the speakers who gave their time and in some cases traveled to New Orleans to be a part of this. But most of all, thank you to all the folks who came out and participated, you made this what it was!

Thanks so much for working so hard to make WordCamp NOLA happen (and to everyone else who did as well!). I had a fantastic time, learned a ton, and met so many great people – it was a great experience, both personally and professionally. I’m really looking forward to continuing to get involved in this awesome community – yet another reason to love NOLA!

This truly was an incredible event. John did an amazing job planning and bringing his vision for WordCampNOLA to fruition. Chris, you pulled together an impressive speaker lineup. Congratulations to everyone involved–it was inspiring, energizing weekend. I can’t wait until next year!

Thanks for all your hard work in putting this together. I had a great time and yet another excuse to connect in real life with people I know so well online.
And also to meet a few I didn’t yet know but will surely get to.
Count me in for next year for sure!

Hey Will, Jessica, Ericka & Marc – thanks so much for each of your participation. It really was a great weekend, and I appreciate everything each of you did as well as everyone else.
Can’t wait until next year and for more events like this in the near future.
