New Orleans marks Katrina anniversary

  • August 30th, 2007 /
  •  Oleg Kurnosov

“…In New Orleans, recovery has been spotty at best. The historic French Quarter and neighborhoods close to the Mississippi River did not flood and have bounced back fairly well. Sales tax revenues are approaching normal, and tourism and the port industry are recovering…” (from yahoo)

We’re with you guys, hope this city is all back into fully recovered state and running well!

Thanks Oleg – It’s nice to hear your thoughts on a momentous day like this. There is a lot of work to do, but there is a lot that has gotten better in the last 2 years. Most of all, this is a City of hope and optimism.

    Come visit us ya’ll.
