Voodoo 2.0 – the all new VV.com

Hello from Voodoo Ventures 2.0. We’ve relaunched our site as a blog powered by Wordpress. With all the exciting things going on right now, we decided our previous site was getting a little outdated, and we wanted to be able to share our our goings on in real time through VoodooVentures.com.

We hope you’ll stay tuned and grab our RSS feed to stay updated on everything going on at Voodoo. It’s been an exciting couple of months, and we’ve got a lot of things that we’ll be sharing here in the near future. Some of the things coming up include:

  • An exciting announcement about Huckabuck, with a story breaking by our friends over at Vitamin on Monday.
  • The closed beta launch of our project SiteMighty coming as soon as next week (we hope).
  • And much more as we continue to work our way into the conversation online though this blog.

We are making the public commitment to this blog for several reasons. We have had blogs on each of our projects individually over the course of the last few months. One of the interesting things that we learned is that that people subscribe to bloggers not brands. People want to hear what other people that they find interesting have to say, they don’t want to hear someone talking and pitching for a brand. We also found that it was a challenge to keep all of the blogs we managed on our different sites active. So for this reason we are consolidating our voices here to this site. All of our projects blogs will actually point back to this site, so people can find out all of what we are doing.

Additionally, we are committing to keep this blog updated. We know that writing regularly drives readership. We are committing to keep the conversation updated an lively here, and we hope that you’ll join in. We are auto enabling commenting, so feel free to respond to any of our thoughts. We are going to be really transparent about how were doing, and we hope to grow into an important voice of the internet. Thanks for keeping up with us. Here’s to the launch of the new Voodoo Ventures blog!

Great idea. Subscribed. I like the idea of one consolidated uber-blog, and a nice touch with your smiling faces above every article. How about a point-counterpoint article at some point where you take opposite sides of an issue, for the sport of it?

Definitely great orange look! Like it a lot!
